So many beliefs to follow in this life / How does one see who you truly are / The church can seem divided, fighting over theology / All I want is truth to govern me / Guard my heart as I seek you Lord / I want to do things your way / Keep my eyes focused, my heart devoted / My will submitted to everything you ask of me / I want to do what you want me to / I’m sick of living my way / Take the reigns / Too many people follow whatever’s easier to swallow / Even though you warned us, the path to you is narrow / But one should never fail to see, legalism is hypocrisy / So help me find the harmony between judgement and mercy
